The Marconett's
Chimney Medic is fireman owned and has been in business for 25 years. Dana and Wendy Marconett own Chimney Medic, and two of their 9 children work full-time for the business. What started as a part-time job for a full-time fireman has grown into one of the most trusted Chimney Sweep businesses in the KC metro area.

Who We Are
Erik Marconett
Lead Technician
On the day of your service, you will most likely see Erik. Erik is the second oldest of the Marconett clan. He has been doing chimneys for us "officially" for nine years, though all of our children grew up helping on big chimney repairs.

Erik is a skilled brick mason, and is one of the most polite young men you will have the pleasure of meeting. In his off time, he enjoys hanging out with his friends and his dog, Chewy.
Haley Steinbacher
General Manager
When you call to book an appointment or inquire about services, you will reach Haley. Haley is fifth in line of Marconett siblings. She joined us full-time last year, although she has done work for us on and off the last several years. She has extensive management and customer service experience, and we're excited to see where she takes our business.

In her spare time, Haley loves to spend time with her husband and three boys. Oliver is eight, Carter is two, and Graham is one. If you hear little feet running, or little voices talking when you call, it's one of these three boys!

Business Owners
Dana is a Career firefighter and a Captain with the Belton Fire Department. Wendy is an emergency room nurse at a busy Kansas City hospital. They live in the Belton area and enjoy spending time out on their vintage boat with their two dogs, Millie and Truman.

The Marconett family is lovingly referred to as "The Marconett Zoo," and with good reason. Dana and Wendy have nine kids, 6 sons/daughters in law, eleven grandkids, with one more grandchild on the way.
